GCI Turf 5-0-5 3% Ca was designed as a “spoon-feeding” fertilizer. Spoon-feeding turf is when you feed the lawn in small doses with more frequent applications. For cool-season turf, a great time for spoon-feeding is in the summer months when little nitrogen is needed. The nitrogen in this fertilizer will help to maintain color while the potassium and calcium will help to reduce plant stress. I updated the formula of this mix to include Iron, kelp, and fulvic acid making it even better.

For warm-season turf, this can be used between normal feedings to maintain color while the potassium and calcium help reduce plant stress.

GCI Turf 5-0-5 can be used on any turf type. It is recommended to be used at 3-6 ounces per 1000 square feet approximately 15 - 30 days apart during the growing season.

GCI Turf 5-0-5 is intended to supplement your current fertilizer program.

Use GCI Turf 5-0-5 in conjunction with O2-YS Natural Adjuvant and N-Ext Sea-K to create an incredibly nice mix to combat heat stress during the summer months.
