Returns & Refunds
The following describes the Returns & Refund Policy for our GCI Turf Academy website.
We cannot take returns of seed. We cannot resell seed that has left our possession as we do not know how it was cared for while out of our hands. (moisture, sunlight, humidity, etc).
IF AN ITEM IS ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN, A 15% RESTOCKING FEE WILL BE WITHHELD FROM THE REFUND. IF THE ITEM IS NOT IN THE SAME PURCHASED CONDITION, UP TO 50% OF THE PURCHASE PRICE CAN BE WITHHELD.
WE DO NOT ALLOW RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON LIQUID PRODUCTS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
ITEMS ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN MUST BE DONE WITHIN 5 DAYS OF THE DELIVERY DATE.
YOU HAVE 5 DAYS FROM THE DAY OF DELIVERY TO INSPECT THE ITEMS AND NOTIFY GCI TURF ACADEMY WITH ANY DEFECTS, DAMAGES, OR PROBLEMS.
ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN USED IN ANY WAY, EVEN WITH WATER, ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN
CANCELLATIONS
When our team gets a request to cancel an order we will attempt to cancel it before it is shipped.
Once an order is packaged and ready to go it is considered shipped. Due to the shipping costs associated with the items we can not cancel an order once it is considered shipped.
If we can cancel an order, please be aware that we will issue a refund minus 3% for the credit card processing fee associated with the original charge.
WRONG ITEM RECEIVED
If you receive the wrong item please send us an email with your order number and pictures of your packing slip and the item received. We will get the correct item shipped out to you asap. Depending on the item received we may or may not send a label for you to return the wrong item.
PACKAGE ARRIVES DAMAGED
If your package is damaged, please send us an email with your order number and pictures of the damage. We must have pictures of the box, label, and contents of the package. We have to have these pictures to issue a claim with UPS. Once all information is received we will get a replacement shipped to you.
MISSING PACKAGE
If your tracking number indicates your package was delivered and you do not have it, please allow another 24-48 hours before contacting us as packages will usually show up. Please also double-check with your neighbors as packages are often delivered to the wrong address. At that point, if you still don’t have the package, please email us with your order number and concerns. Once we verify the package is indeed lost we will ship out a replacement or offer a refund.
