T-NEX® Turf Growth Regulator (Trinexapac-ethyl 12%)

T-NEX® is a professional-grade plant growth regulator designed to slow turf growth, reduce mowing frequency, and improve overall turf quality. Powered by trinexapac-ethyl—the same active ingredient used in Primo MAXX®—T-NEX® helps your lawn grow denser, greener, and more stress-tolerant while producing fewer clippings.

When applied properly, T-NEX® redirects energy from top growth to root development, resulting in stronger turf with improved drought, heat, and traffic tolerance.

How T-NEX® Works

T-NEX® is absorbed through turf foliage and begins regulating growth within 3–5 days. It does not require watering-in and becomes rainfast within one hour of application.

Mixing Instructions (Standard Application)

  1. Fill sprayer halfway with water

  2. Add measured T-NEX®

  3. Finish filling with water

  4. Agitate thoroughly

  5. Apply evenly

Carrier Rate:
Use 0.5–4.0 gallons of water per 1,000 sq ft

Only mix what you plan to spray that day. Maintain agitation during application.

Application Timing

  • Apply to actively growing turf

  • Avoid applying during dormancy or extreme stress

  • Reapply as growth resumes

  • Typical control: 3–4 weeks

  • Do not exceed 7.0 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft per year
