Shipping was fast. This is a very clean kit and comes with everything you need. My only complaint as others have had as well is the hose reel was very scuffed and looked used almost. When you’re spending this much money it kinda sucks to open it up and see that but all in all it was worth it.

I chose Pete’s design after watching many videos of other designs for wall mounted pressure washers, and then seeing how well thought out and perfectly executed this system is. 10 minutes into watching his YouTube video of the installation he did for his friend/employee I knew this was the best solution to go with. The modular designed mounting system is one of my many favorites of this solution. The components are all “best in class” level quality. The Hannay reel is far superior to the reels of other systems. Other systems that cost almost three times as much utilize the Cox reel, which is inferior to the Hannay reel in many respects. I also really appreciate Pete’s innovative approach to integrating the accessory mounting points into his shelf design. As advertised, this is truly a “turn key solution”!
Pete has been very helpful throughout the purchase process as well. If you have the opportunity to get this setup,, go for it! You will be happy.

The kit arrived in good condition and was packaged well. I am Impressed with the workmanship of the shelf and reel and all related hardware. Took and hour to assemble and installl and worked great the first time!

First off, Pete and company are a pleasure to work with. The product came promptly and everything was packaged nicely.
However, the quality of the Hannay reel is subpar at best. There are numerous scuffs on reel where you can clearly see parts of it was not completely painted and you can see the color underneath it. I brought this up to Pete and they reached out to Hannay. Hannay basically said better luck next time and won't replace the reel.
I don't understand why there aren't any quality control for a high price item like this. If I can do this over I would go with the Coxreel.
If you zoom on on the picture I've included you can see the unpainted/scuff marks.

I love this pressure washer. Perfect for washing your cars and mowing equipment as it has just the right amount of pressure to do the job without the risk of taking the paint off. What a great set up and the active 2.0 has the perfect psi for my needs. It is very small and compact. The overall setup of this system is great.

Pressure washer kit is well thought out. Components are high quality. Active 2.0 is a great for car washing / detailing. Only downside, as other reviews have mentioned, the paint on the hose reel is prone to rubbing off during shipping. Not GCI's fault, but it would be better if the hose wheel were powder coated. Otherwise, it is great set-up.

From the packaging to the final product it is top notch. I was shopping around a lot and most people know there is another kit out there. It is a shame this one doesn’t get more exposure because I would say this one is even better. It has really nice touches that the other does not. No extra or special brackets needed to mount on studs. Their shelf and reel mount 16” on center. The quality is crazy good and strong. Then they build in all the quick release pieces you need to mount all your accessories onto the shelf. The Active 2.0 speaks for itself. I highly recommend this kit.

Fantastic complete low pressure/high flow pressure washer and reel kit! I bought this primarily for washing our cars. I was easily convinced after using one a friend had recently purchased. The kit arrived quickly and everything was packaged very well. I did have to pull up the installation video on YouTube and give that a watch prior to installation, but it was brief and made the install a breeze. My finished install includes a stainless garden hose holder from JBScoop, a 90 degree elbow, 3/4 shut off valve, and a McKillans quick connect kit.
In use, everything is perfect, the reel glides on it's bearings and the pressure washer works excellently to blast out your wheel wells or give your car or truck a nice thick cover of foam. So far, the best foam I've used is Adam's Mega Foam. If you've got multiple cars to wash, might as well make it fun! I've also used the pressure washer for some light house and concrete cleaning.
All in all, a great set up that will last a lifetime. When you get it, you see all the finishing, the quality of the reel, the ease of installation, the included quick connects for tip storage, all if it adds up to a quality product. The only thing I'd say, is if you can, mount the unit on an exterior wall. I ended up moving mine as it can create a bit of noise on the inside of the house but that said, moving it was a breeze!
All in all, fantastic product, easily worth the money and the customer service is perfect! Thanks GCI team!

Unit came in 2 boxes, had a list with all the parts which made it easy to make sure you have everything you need to install. Watching the video on the installation made it easy to install. The unit looks really good when set up and everything hangs in place, overall very well thought out. Unit does a great job in washing and makes the job much easier than when I used a portable electric pressure washer. Get yourself a good foam cannon to complement the unit.

This is 100% the most fun and purposeful investment I've made in my car washing regime. I've been "garden hose foaming" for a few years now, and the upgrade to a pressure washer foam cannon is a HUGE improvement. This GCI kit is the real deal and comes with everything you'd ever need for a pressure washing system for cars. Of course you'd love a driveway attachment or 0 degree spinning tip but those attachments aren't designed for this application in my opinion.
The GCI hose reel system comes neatly packaged and is quite easy to set up. Grab the video off you tube, give it a watch and you are ready to go! I'd recommend mounting your kit to an outside wall, as I will have to move mine eventually. The build quality and easy to assemble and move is where the kit really shines. It is rock solid, the reel glides on bearings, and you can tell this will last longer than you will. The thoughtfulness of the gun/wand/tip storage is awesome too.
At fist glance, you might think this is a little expensive but considering everything you get; the pressure washer, a pressure washer hose reel set up, hose, gun, wand, multiple tips and the quick connectors to store the tips, it's actually a very fair price. Hell, a plastic garden hose reel is 80 bucks at Costco and it MIGHT last you 5 years.
I'm super stoked on this, it makes car washing fun, looks great, and organizes my garage a bit better! The GCI team is also super responsive if you ever need them. Love it, thanks GCI!

This pressure washer kit works great. Nice and compact and installation was very easy as we watched the youtube video during setup. My only complaint is that one of the pieces that holds the nozzles on the shelve was broken off in the box. The welds that hold the piece (Coupler) on was broken. Not the end of the world but disappointing none the less. Overall very happy with the purchase.

I can’t say enough about this wall mounted pressure washer kit. I watched the You Tube video and installed this in no time. Super easy to mount and it’s made with quality parts. I’m really impressed and happy with my purchase. The customer service has been excellent. I’ve plumbed mine with 3/4” copper to my water softener. The shelf and reel are top notch, there were some scratches , spiderwebs and dead spiders on the equipment but it looks and works fantastic. How do I purchase the longer handle for my hose reel?

The install was very easy and the hose reel and shelf are built forever. They are heavy items even before adding any hose. The power washer works great and it still amazes me how small it is. I'm glad I made the purchase and recommend it to anyone looking for similar items.
