GCI Turf Ryegrass is made up of 3 of the best cultivars MVS has to offer. Blue tag certified. Zero weed seed.

Ryegrass can be used to over seed bermudagrass in the fall.

The seed is in a MVS generic bag simply because I did not want to invest money in a GCI bag until I see how this seed is going to sell. If this seed sells well I will have a GCI branded seed bag made.
This ryegrass is three of the best MVS cultivars the offer. I have planted and grown this exact blend and it’s super dark green and has a fine textured leaf blade.

Where would you use ryegrass?
A: Use it for a permanent stand of grass. This would mostly be found up north in cooler climates where your summers are not brutally hot and humidity isn’t all that bad.
B: Use this ryegrass to over seed bermudagrass in the fall to temporarily cover up the dormant brown color of Bermuda in the winter. If you do this please be sure to spray out the ryegrass early enough in the spring to give the Bermuda a fair chance to come in. If you leave the ryegrass too long you can do damage to the Bermuda. This ryegrass is available in both a 45# bag and a 25# bag.
