Meso 4 SC Select is a powerful pre- and post-emergent herbicide formulated with 40% mesotrione to deliver professional-level weed control in residential and commercial turf. It provides both contact and residual control, helping prevent new weeds while eliminating existing ones.

This product is trusted by turf professionals for renovations, overseeding, and maintenance programs and is safe for use on many cool-season and warm-season grasses when applied according to label directions.

Meso 4 SC Select works by stopping chlorophyll production in weeds, causing them to turn white and die within 2–3 weeks after application.

⚠️ Temporary whitening of turf may occur. This is normal and will fade as grass recovers.

📅 Application Timing

Pre-Emergent (Before Weeds Germinate)

  • Apply 4–8 fl oz per acre

  • Best for crabgrass and annual weed prevention

  • Water in with 0.15 inches irrigation if no rain within 10 days

Post-Emergent (Active Weeds Present)

  • Apply 4–8 fl oz per acre

  • Use with non-ionic surfactant (NIS)

  • Reapply in 2–3 weeks if needed

  • Apply to young, actively growing weeds

New Seedings / Renovations

  • Apply 5–8 fl oz per acre at or near seeding

  • Wait until turf is mowed 2–4 times before reapplying
